Product Designer

Luma AI is on a mission to build multimodal AI that expands human imagination, and they are seeking a multi-disciplinary Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of human-machine interaction. The role involves leading the design process for major features, creating intuitive interactions for AI-native products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Own Features End-to-End: Lead the design process for major features, from initial product thinking and user exploration to pixel-perfect visual design and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Design Novel Interactions: Go beyond static screens. You will design and prototype fluid, novel interactions for a new medium, taking complex AI concepts and making them feel intuitive and powerful
• Uphold a High Bar for Craft: Create exceptionally high-quality visual designs, interactions, and prototypes, demonstrating world-class taste and an obsession with detail
• Define Product Strategy: Collaborate closely with engineers, AI researchers, and product teams to explore new use cases, help define product strategy, and ensure high-quality implementation of the design vision
• Thrive in Ambiguity: Operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, turning fuzzy research concepts into concrete, shippable products
