Nexthermal is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to grow their presence within a designated geographic territory. The role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and providing technically sound solutions that align with customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities within an assigned geographic territory through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach
- Identify and engage key decision-makers to understand their thermal application needs and recommend customized heating solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Build strong relationships with both new and existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Work closely with engineering and product development teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions
- Conduct on-site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations as needed
- Maintain detailed records in the CRM system and prepare regular sales activity reports
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer requirements
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for technical sales presentations
- Provide pre-sales support by addressing customer inquiries and technical challenges
- Assist in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical sales or a related field is essential
- Strong background in conducting product demos and pre-sales activities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong customer service orientation
- Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus
