Insight Recruitment is assisting a growing organization undergoing significant technology transformation and expansion. They are seeking an IT Project Manager to support project execution and the development of project management discipline across the IT organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including system implementations, integrations, and enhancements
- Develop project plans, define scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure projects stay on track
- Drive accountability across teams to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes
- Help establish and evolve IT project management processes, standards, and best practices
- Support development of project intake, prioritization, and portfolio management frameworks
- Create and maintain project reporting, dashboards, and status visibility for leadership
- Bring structure and discipline to project execution without adding unnecessary complexity
- Contribute to building a scalable PMO function over time
- Partner with IT and business leadership to evaluate project requests and priorities
- Provide visibility into project pipeline, capacity, risks, and progress
- Facilitate alignment between business needs and technical solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Engage at a sufficient technical depth to evaluate solutions and challenge assumptions
- Ask the right questions to clarify business needs before defining solutions
- Work closely with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure cohesive delivery
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and system capabilities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading enterprise software implementations (ERP, CRM, or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of IT systems, integrations, and SaaS-based environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working cross-functionally with business teams, IT, and third-party vendors
- Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in environments with limited structure
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferred
- Experience contributing to or building PMO processes, governance, or portfolio management practices
- Exposure to program or portfolio-level oversight of IT initiatives
- Experience in high-growth or evolving environments
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar
