Project Manager (Natural Gas)

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager for Fossil Fuel Power Generation with a focus on natural gas projects. The role involves leading early-stage project management functions, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while serving as a liaison for procurement and contracting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the daily management of projects to ensure completion and cost-effective and results
• Use and rigorous thinking to work, determine highest priority actions and tenaciously promote projects forward
• Be a liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and utility interconnection
• Help construct contractual arrangements for the project, must be hands-on and willing to help write contract documents, both commercial and technical
• Negotiate agreements with equipment suppliers, technical consultants and contractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with focus on relevant field associated with fossil fuel power generation or related field
• Experience: 8 years in natural Gas-fired power generation or related field design and project management
• Experience in contract negotiation
• Engineering background to ensure oversight of engineering aspects of projects
• Skill with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management and scheduling Software
