Skills Alliance Enterprise is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing next-generation T cell therapies for cancer treatment. The IT Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions, ensuring technology investments align with business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows
- Create and maintain business process models
- Drive process mapping and associated documentation that will align our functions around how key master and transactional data will be shared between systems
- Participate in driving the design for aligning key data between systems of record for IDL (initial data load) vs ongoing processing
- Identify and analyze business problems and opportunities
- Develop and evaluate potential solutions
- Conduct root cause analysis to understand the underlying issues
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and management
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and gather feedback
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns
- Create reports and dashboards to track progress and measure performance
- Use data to support business decisions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years-experience as a IT process / business analyst with hand's on practical experience with master data exchanges between systems
- Ability to lead process and data flow mapping throughout entire lifecycle, including effective partnering with business partners (subject matter experts)
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner
- Understanding of IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall, along with associated best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather input from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations and a point-of-view for key decisions
- Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and leverage support team members as necessary
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Microsoft Power BI experience, including creating workspaces, managing complex datasets, and utilizing best practices for reporting and visualizations
- IT BA knowledge – with IT business analysis lifecycle from requirements gathering through to recommending tangible solutions
- Pre-post system implementation - Comfortable with creating test cases for UAT and leading defect resolution
- Project management support - Support IT project / program manager on project scoping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management
- IT cost optimization - Proven experience in IT function rationalization
- Process / business analyst experience within the bio-pharma industry
- Minimum 1 year experience with GxP system implementations or GxP system validation projects
- Applied experience with commercial customer systems such as CRM (Veeva, SF.com, etc.)
- Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro and writing work instructions and SOPs
