Trident Consulting is seeking a Business Development Manager – MSP/VMS to join their team in Southern California. The role involves identifying and growing new MSP/VMS accounts, expanding existing accounts, and driving revenue through strong relationship management and client engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, acquire, and grow new MSP/VMS accounts
- Expand existing accounts through account mining and relationship development
- Drive revenue by securing SOWs, POs, and staffing engagements
- Build strong relationships with MSPs, procurement teams, and client stakeholders
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure high fill rates and client satisfaction
- Lead client engagements including negotiation, pricing, and solutioning
- Track performance, forecasts, and revenue targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience in staffing sales / business development (MSP/VMS focused)
- Strong understanding of MSP programs, vendor management, and SOW-based engagements
- Ability to open new accounts and grow existing ones
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic mindset with a focus on revenue growth and client success
