Trellis Law is a leading provider of legal intelligence and judicial analytics for law firms, aiming to transform legal research through the integration of data, technology, and analytics. They are seeking a Business Development Representative who will focus on high-volume outbound cold calling to generate leads and set up meetings for the sales team. The role requires strong communication skills and a passion for breaking into new markets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective customers daily
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Trellis’ products, value propositions, and target markets
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and activities in our CRM (HubSpot)
- Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity and pipeline generation goals
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and prospecting strategies
- Stay up to date on industry trends, legal tech innovations, and competitive landscape
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in an outbound sales or lead generation role, preferably in SaaS, tech, or legal markets
- Proven success and comfort with cold calling as a primary activity
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of drive and resilience
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and embrace feedback
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus)
