The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and supporting the overall success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service by greeting guests, addressing their needs, and resolving concerns promptly and courteously
- Assisting the General Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing the store
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including performing daily cleaning duties and ensuring health and safety standards are met
- Training, coaching, and supervising team members to deliver excellent service and meet sales goals
- Supporting team members in their responsibilities and fostering a positive work environment
- Monitoring sales and operational metrics to achieve business targets
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Handling customer feedback and resolving issues to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for both employees and customers
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally
- Reliable transportation to and from work on a daily basis
- Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to assist in team building and motivate team members
- Leadership skills to coach and supervise team members with minimal supervision
- Capacity to foster a positive, energetic, and collaborative work environment
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
- Previous experience in a restaurant or retail setting is preferred but not mandatory
