Project Manager

SmartLam North America is a leader in the mass timber industry, specializing in sustainable building materials. They are seeking a driven Project Manager to oversee projects from sale through production and onsite installation, ensuring timely completion and excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage all phases of the project from sale through production completion
• Assist with production scheduling to align with customer timelines
• Lead pre-production meetings and design reviews as needed
• Track project status and costs with detailed record-keeping
• Generate RFIs, change orders, and submittals as required
• Utilize ERP software for efficient project tracking
• Collaborate with the Project Engineering team to ensure timely delivery of design engineering, 3D modeling, shop drawings, and production files
• Act as the voice-of-the-customer in internal meetings to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in construction, manufacturing, design, or a related field
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, architectural, and structural plans
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
• PMP certification
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and CRM software
