Junior Software Engineer– Cloud Development

Humana Inc. is committed to putting health first for its customers and employees. The Junior Software Engineer will standardize quality assurance procedures for software, oversee testing and debugging, and develop fixes while working across Agile teams to support technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
• Work with cloud native stack, build on Azure, AWS, or Google, use technologies like Kubernetes
• Write effective technical documentation and Implement authentication/authorization rules
• Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product
• Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages
• Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and relevant IT experience
• 2+ years' experience in software engineering
• 2+ years' experience in at least one of the following: Java or Node.js
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service
• At least 1 year of experience in building micro frontends and/or micro services
• Master's Degree
• Advance experience in Microsoft Azure
• Experience in Building Domain Driven Microservices
• Advance experience in building software with Cloud native technologies
• Experience in SASS, W3C Web Standards, Web performance, Cross-browser compatibility
• Advanced understanding of web modular design patterns
