Carbon Robotics is an innovative company that leverages advanced robotics and AI to create solutions for agriculture. They are seeking a Sr. UX/UI Designer to conduct user research, lead design efforts, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance user-centered designs for their products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, field studies, and usability testing with growers and field operators to identify needs and pain points, integrating findings into improving our design
- Lead the design of both UX and UI components, delivering seamless and visually appealing interfaces across Carbon Robotics' products
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other team members to create and iterate on user-centered designs
- Assess and make recommendations for design software and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) to create prototypes and final designs
- Travel to the field and understand user needs directly by observing and interacting with end users in their actual work environment. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is a must
