Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

The Kennel Assistant supports the hospital by assisting with daily animal care and facility upkeep.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, and boarding areas
• Feeding and providing fresh water to boarding and hospitalized pets
• Walking dogs and monitoring pets during outdoor breaks
• Observing pets for signs of illness, stress, or discomfort and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
• Laundering bedding, towels, and hospital linens
• Maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas, exam rooms, and common spaces
• Assisting veterinary assistants and technicians with basic animal handling and restraint when needed
• Ensuring pets are comfortable, safe, and receiving attentive care during their stay

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment
