Kennel Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the veterinary team by maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment and providing attentive care to pets staying with us for boarding, medical treatment, or recovery.At

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
The Kennel Assistant supports the hospital by assisting with daily animal care and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, and boarding areas
- Feeding and providing fresh water to boarding and hospitalized pets
- Walking dogs and monitoring pets during outdoor breaks
- Observing pets for signs of illness, stress, or discomfort and reporting concerns to the veterinary team
- Laundering bedding, towels, and hospital linens
- Maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas, exam rooms, and common spaces
- Assisting veterinary assistants and technicians with basic animal handling and restraint when needed
- Ensuring pets are comfortable, safe, and receiving attentive care during their stay

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to perform physical tasks including cleaning, lifting, bending, and walking dogs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment
