Senior Data Engineer

Qorali is a mission-driven, high-growth organization seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape and evolve a modern data platform. The role involves designing and implementing scalable data architectures, managing ETL/ELT pipelines, and supporting machine learning model deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures supporting both batch and real-time processing
• Develop and maintain data models that power analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
• Contribute to and execute a long-term data engineering strategy aligned with business priorities
• Enhance core datasets and build systems that improve data discovery, accessibility, and usability
• Build and manage reliable ETL/ELT pipelines across a variety of data sources
• Work with large-scale datasets to support analytics and business intelligence
• Optimize data storage and processing systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and reduce inefficiencies
• Implement best practices and modern tooling to enhance reliability and maintainability
• Support continuous improvement of the data ecosystem and engineering standards
• Develop and maintain pipelines that support deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production environments

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
• Strong programming skills in Python and advanced proficiency in SQL
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and modern data stacks
• Proven track record designing and optimizing data warehouses and dimensional models
• Experience building and orchestrating pipelines using tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK or equivalent)
• Experience working with BI/analytics tools (Power BI)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
