Reddit is a community of communities, home to the most open and authentic conversations on the internet. The Senior Product Manager for Ads API will lead the strategy for Reddit's API ecosystem, working closely with the partnership team to enhance monetization and connect users with brands.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead a bold, long-term vision and strategy for AI-powered platform capabilities and API experiences for the third-party (3P) ecosystem
- Provide product thought leadership by identifying partner and developer needs through deep customer insights, ecosystem feedback, and market research
- Identify and incubate new platform opportunities informed by customer and partner research, competitive analysis, and industry trends
- Drive the team towards execution breaking down the strategy to longer term roadmap and quarterly OKRs. Manage the product launch process and continuously monitor performance, iterating towards the north star goal
- Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Able to make trade-offs backed by a clear decisioning process
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with engineering, Data science, UX, marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment
- As a senior member of the Product Management team and the product owner, you’ll regularly communicate across functions and the entire ads team, including frequently presenting to C-level executives
Requirements:
- 6+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience building platform capabilities for third-party (3P) ecosystems
- Proven experience working on large initiatives, across teams, and on highly cross-functional products
- Expertise in using data to drive decisions and business outcomes. You should be comfortable diving into analytics, building experiments, and iterating based on insights
- Experience managing the full product lifecycle—from concept to execution collaborating with multiple teams—and can make tough prioritization decisions while balancing competing stakeholder needs
- You excel at collaborating across teams and can communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives
