Apolis is seeking an Agile Project Manager to lead standard Lean Agile ceremonies and manage project execution. The role involves coordinating with project leadership, managing project risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering effective team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead standard Lean Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Demos, Planning Sessions
- Effectively manage / use JIRA for daily Team Execution
- Translate JIRA Execution into MS Project deliverables
- Support preparation and coordination for weekly program reviews across the different project managers
- Ability to see beyond the requirements to enable opportunity identification to accelerate team deliverables
- Maintain the team / project Risk Register and hold risk reviews with the Development Team
- Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the project plan and scope, in conjunction with the company’s commitments and customer expectations
- Coordinate with senior leaders and executives to define business objectives, determine scope and funding needs, and establish business cases supporting project investments
- Translate deliverables, scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met
- Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with stakeholders
- Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members
- Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goal
- Apply project management principles including project financial management, scope and schedule management, risk and opportunity management, critical problem solving, variance and root cause analysis techniques to ensure on time delivery of product capabilities that meet customer requirements
- Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives
- Summarize and present key information and data-driven metrics to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions
- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives
- Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives
- Project Management skills to provide direction and leadership to team members who do not report to you directly (leadership without authority)
- Ability to take on roles in an Agile framework, such as Scrum Master or Product Manager, or Product Owner
