Catapult Federal Services is a global technology solutions provider serving large public and private organizations. They are seeking a Senior NetScaler ADC Automation Engineer to support a large-scale application delivery modernization initiative, focusing on designing and building automation frameworks for scalable NetScaler deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automated frameworks supporting scalable application delivery services using Citrix NetScaler ADC
- Develop and maintain automation solutions leveraging the NetScaler NITRO API, Ansible (NetScaler collections/modules), and Python (REST integrations, data modeling, templating)
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for network and ADC automation workflows
- Translate manual NetScaler configurations into repeatable, infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Support large-scale application delivery modernization and standardization initiatives
- Manage SSL/TLS configurations, persistence policies, health monitoring, and traffic management at the L4–L7 layer
- Collaborate with network, security, DevOps, and application teams to align automation efforts with broader organizational goals
- Maintain proficiency with JSON, YAML, Jinja2, and Git-based workflows
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC
- Deep expertise with the NetScaler NITRO API — mandatory
- Proven automation experience with Ansible and Python — mandatory
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for network or ADC automation
- Strong understanding of L4–L7 application delivery concepts including SSL/TLS, persistence, health monitoring, and traffic management
- Proficiency with JSON, YAML, Jinja2, and Git workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, ASM) in mixed ADC environments
- Familiarity with NetScaler Responder and Rewrite policies
- Experience automating NetScaler WAF configurations
- Background supporting large-scale ADC migrations or standardization efforts
- Knowledge of certificate automation and enterprise PKI workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
