Blacksmith Agency is seeking a consultative Account Executive to drive growth across both project-based engagements and ongoing marketing services. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, generating new business, and expanding existing client relationships while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
- Generate new business while growing existing client relationships
- Lead consultative discovery, solution development, and stakeholder alignment
- Manage complex deals with multiple decision-makers
- Partner with SDRs to convert warm leads into opportunities
- Deliver compelling virtual presentations and proposals
- Negotiate contracts and support legal/procurement processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong client outcomes
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive role
- Proven track record selling high-value solutions through consultative sales
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Experience managing longer, structured deal cycles
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Comfortable selling in a primarily remote environment
- Familiarity with modern sales tools and CRM platforms
- Experience in agency or SMB SaaS environments
- Background working in fast-growing or startup companies
- Exposure to a variety of industries
