Augment Analytics is a thriving fintech company delivering innovative banking products. They are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy to own and scale their marketing strategy, focusing on new account originations and portfolio growth while leading a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the marketing agenda to scale new account originations Direct Mail marketing
- Own end-to-end mail execution process that involves partnering with creative agency and vendors and execute this process
- Own and drive strategies to continuously optimize targeting, creative, & landing page optimization that engage consumers and drive growth
- Drive experimental test design and implementation, statistical analysis to quickly scale new account growth through direct mail and digital channels
- Launch and own account growth on high-intent platforms like Credit Karma (Lightbox), Experian (Activate), and Other affiliate channels
- Refine our marketing spend and direct mail targeting strategy to manage Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). And, focus on unit economics, payback periods, and credit quality
- Analyze campaign performance across direct mail and digital channels to uncover insights, measure ROI, and recommend optimizations
- Rebuild and refine response models by partnering with Data Science team to continuously improve our targeting efficiency
- Ensure strong regulatory and governance standards are met, working closely with legal and compliance leads to secure a strong risk culture
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team as we build the team over the next 2 years
- Deliver the agenda in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment using solid business judgment
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in managing prescreen direct mail programs and/or digital marketing channels for Consumer credit card or lending products across near-prime and prime segments
- Thorough understanding of how direct mail marketing campaigns are designed and executed, from identifying prospects to be mailed in our prospect database, culminating in sending out marketing solicitations through our print vendors
- Experience using bureau data and non-bureau data within a prospect database solution
- Expert proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Python, R, SAS) and a strong ability to translate complex data analysis into clear, strategic business actions
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering); advanced degree a plus
- Strategic thinker who can approach white space problems with innovative solutions
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems to drive a culture of data-driven problem solving
- Candidates who bring a blend of hands-on execution and executive-level strategic thinking, particularly within fast-growing or early-stage consumer lending environments, will thrive in this role
- Familiarity with U.S. consumer credit regulations (FCRA, ECOA, Reg-Z/TILA and UDAAP)
