Business Intelligence Analyst II

Cox Automotive is a leading company transforming the automotive industry through innovative technology. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to gather, transform, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across Client Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Business Intelligence solutions using tools such as Domo, SQL and Excel
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs and requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions
• Determine data requirements and gather, synthesize, and transform data from multiple sources in compliance with data governance standards
• Generate and distribute well-structured datasets, dashboards, and reports tailored to business needs and aligned to project requirements
• Create compelling data-driven narratives that translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Monitor data integrity, efficiency, and availability
• Assist in the development and enhancement of business intelligence reporting and data handling processes and best practices
• Collaborate with business owners, leadership, and cross-functional teams to identify and document project requirements and data needs
• Manage and execute full project lifecycles including data acquisition, data wrangling, modeling, analysis, and visualization
• Establish and manage project plans, delivery timelines, and sprint presentations
• Proactively communicate progress, challenges, and risks to leaders and stakeholders
• Manage individual workload including defining and prioritizing assigned tasks across multiple projects
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
• Provide training and documentation for generated reports and dashboards
• Engage with and support other Business Intelligence team members as needed

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Domo, SQL, and Excel
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with project management concepts and agile methodologies
• Experience in data manipulation, dashboard development, and report generation
• Ability to translate business needs and requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions
• Experience in generating and distributing well-structured datasets, dashboards, and reports
• Ability to create compelling data-driven narratives
• Experience in monitoring data integrity, efficiency, and availability
