Course Developer and Adjunct Professor: Innovation Strategy of AI and Emerging Technologies (Engineering)

Kaplan has partnered with Wake Forest University to develop leaders through online degree programs. They are seeking a Course Developer and Adjunct Professor to teach the Innovation Strategy for AI & Emerging Technologies course, focusing on integrating emerging technologies into engineering practice.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach the Innovation Strategy for AI & Emerging Technologies course in the online Master of Engineering Management program
• Prepare engineering managers to lead innovation by strategically evaluating and integrating emerging technologies into engineering practice
• Explore technology readiness levels, adoption models, and governance frameworks while weighing ethical, regulatory, and risk considerations
• Facilitate face-to-face virtual classroom meetings weekly over an academic term to reinforce coursework materials and encourage focused discussions

Requirements:

• Master's degree in program field or related degree
• 3+ years of experience in university-level teaching
• 5+ years industry experience
• Terminal degree preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver graduate-level, online course experiences that are valued by industry
• Highly skilled in and/or highly attuned to adult learning best practices
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence
• Ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity
