Simply.TV is a leading provider of advanced, AI-driven metadata solutions, empowering broadcasters and streaming platforms. The Sales Development Manager role focuses on driving new business pipelines across the United States, engaging with Tier 3 and smaller Tier 2 customers while identifying larger opportunities for the senior sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities across Tier 3 and smaller Tier 2 accounts
- Identify, engage, and qualify larger Tier 1 and Tier 2 opportunities, ensuring smooth handoff to senior sales team
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies with a strong focus on cold outreach and pipeline generation
- Leverage automation, AI tools, and modern sales technologies to drive efficiency and scale outreach
- Engage prospects and qualify opportunities based on business needs, use cases, and fit with Simply.TV solutions
- Consistently generate high-quality meetings and opportunities for the commercial team
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and CRM hygiene
- Act as a commercial ambassador for Simply.TV in the US market
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on outbound / hunter roles
- Experience in inbound sales (required); experience in outbound sales is preferred
- Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch and consistently generate qualified opportunities
- Experience with cold start environments and creating opportunities where none exist
- Experience using automation, AI tools, and modern sales technologies
- Strong understanding of how to engage and qualify mid-market and enterprise customers
- Strong CRM discipline (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and qualify stakeholders
- High degree of autonomy, ownership, and resilience in a target-driven environment
- Deep understanding of the TV and video streaming industry and why metadata is key to unlock a better product experience
- Experience in outbound sales is preferred
- Experience in the TV supplier industry is highly preferred, especially within metadata, content discovery, or related media/streaming environments
- Have worked before in the TV and Video technology supplier industry with good contacts to potential customers such as TV operators, broadcasters, streamers and connected TV manufactures
