Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects in medium-voltage power distribution and automation solutions, ensuring alignment with project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of assigned projects—from planning to execution and final closeout
- Own project cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance
- Define project milestones and ensure alignment with master plans and timelines
- Communicate expectations, updates, risks, and progress clearly to team members, leadership, and customers
- Provide routine status reports covering scope, budget, schedule, and performance
- Identify project risks or issues and drive effective solutions (including resource allocation or contract adjustments)
- Handle customer expectations throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Lead single- and multi-product medium-voltage solutions projects
- Conduct diagnostics to resolve root causes and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of project management experience in the power distribution industry, focusing on medium- or high-voltage equipment/switchgear
- Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without company sponsorship
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret results and present recommendations to senior management and customers
- Proven leadership experience leading multi-disciplinary teams (program management, engineering, services, operations, logistics)
- Demonstrated success driving and running projects in competitive technical markets
- Experience implementing cost-saving measures within projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information to varied audiences
- Experience in contract management and change management
- PMP certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of hire)
