Cursor, acquired by DataRobot, is on a mission to automate coding by building the best tools for professional programmers. The GTM Engineer, Growth Programs will architect and build program infrastructure for growth initiatives, streamline GTM workflows, and partner with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build program infrastructure that powers current and future growth programs (Startups, developer ecosystem, partnerships)
- Streamline and automate end-to-end GTM workflows so teams can move faster with less operational overhead
- Design systems that are scalable, durable, and easy to extend as we add new segments, geos, and program types
- Partner closely with Marketing, Growth, Data, and Engineering to scope and ship high-leverage improvements
- Integrate tools and APIs (AI APIs, MCP servers, internal services, and best-in-class automation platforms) to build agents and workflows that remove friction
- Own the 'plumbing' that connects systems: data flows, audience/segment logic, lead + routing logic, permissions, and reliability
- Establish measurement and feedback loops so programs can be evaluated, iterated, and scaled
- Create and maintain lightweight documentation, runbooks, and training so the team stays self-sufficient
Requirements:
- You've built automation, tooling, or systems that helped a GTM team scale (marketing ops, growth ops, GTM engineering)
- You are a systems thinker and builder who turns messy problems into simple, repeatable systems
- You have strong technical background and can collaborate effectively with engineers while also serving non-technical stakeholders
- You can design primitives that generalize across programs (audiences, eligibility rules, workflows, approvals, SLAs)
- You communicate clearly through crisp writing, dashboards, and decision making
- 5+ years in Marketing Operations, Growth Operations/Automation, GTM Engineering, or a similar role in a high-growth SaaS environment
- Experience with AI-powered automation and orchestration tools (e.g. Clay, Zapier, Unify, Hightouch) and a comfort level working with APIs
- Practical experience applying AI to real workflows (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG), with an emphasis on reliability and safety
- Proficiency with SQL and/or modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Omni)
- Experience supporting lead funnel management: lead processing, routing logic, SLAs, and scoring/qualification frameworks
- Deep familiarity with the latest AI-powered GTM tool stacks and workflows
- Experience supporting programs for technical audiences
- Experience with fraud mitigation, quality controls, and operational risk management in program ops
- Experience owning a larger marketing tooling suite (vendor evaluation, administration, access management, tooling roadmap)
