Design Program Manager

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Design Program Manager to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading design programs to enhance product experiences, engaging with stakeholders, and driving change within design teams and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the successful execution and delivery of flexible and holistic design programs and processes to create delightful product experiences
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy to address organizational challenges, define end-to-end plans, and drive change within design teams and cross-functional partners
• Engage with executive stakeholders, conduct root cause analysis, and implement scalable solutions to improve design workflows
• Contribute to the development of the design program management function by sharing successful practices, frameworks, and lessons learned
• Ensure transparency, alignment, and clear communication of program status and resource management across the product development portfolio

Requirements:

• 10+ years of project/program management experience in mid/large size companies, ideally on a design team
• Leads challenging, innovative, and productive conversations to solve critical challenges in both strategic and tactical circumstances
• Models change agent behavior by coaching others and promoting scalable solutions to improve execution processes
• Educates cross-functional peers about their discipline and advocates for its value
• Actively shares knowledge and expertise to support diversity and inclusion, elevating colleagues and teams
