SkySafe is the leader in drone detection and airspace intelligence, delivering unmatched visibility into drone activity. They are seeking a Project Manager to serve as the primary interface with Federal customers, responsible for managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication between internal teams and Federal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for SkySafe’s Federal customer
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across internal and Federal teams
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and program documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between engineering, DevOps, security, and leadership to ensure alignment on program objectives
- Prepare and manage program collateral including presentations, progress reports, risk registers, and meeting agendas
- Facilitate regular program reviews, stand-ups, and stakeholder meetings with both internal teams and Federal counterparts
- Track and manage program risks, issues, and action items, driving resolution and escalating as needed
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, reporting cadences, and Federal program milestones
- Support proposal development, contract modifications, and other program management activities as needed
- Maintain clear and organized documentation of all program communications, decisions, and deliverables
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 2 years supporting Federal or defense contracts
- Strong understanding of Federal contracting processes, deliverable management, and stakeholder communication
- Proven ability to manage complex project schedules with multiple dependencies across technical and non-technical teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical and executive audiences
- Experience creating and managing program artifacts such as Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), status reports, risk registers, and action item trackers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and priorities
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with Federal customers and stakeholders
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote team environment
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
- Experience supporting programs subject to NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, or ATO processes
- Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance efforts in a supporting or coordination capacity
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies in a Federal program context
- Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based technology products
- Background in defense, aerospace, or national security programs
- Experience supporting proposal development or contract modifications (CDRLs, SOWs, etc.)
