XtalPi Inc. is an innovative technology platform company focused on driving intelligent transformation in the Life Sciences and new materials industries. They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager/Senior Manager to drive sales of their chemistry solutions, shape discovery chemistry offerings, and contribute to strategic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual sales targets
- Proactively prospect and qualify leads through outreach, industry events, and client meetings
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations aligned with client scientific goals
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, clearly articulating the value of our services
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular engagement
Requirements:
- Master's degree or above in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field with ideal 3-5 years prior BD experience
- Strong soft skills, including resilience, execution capability, proactive attitude, and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts
- Willingness to travel across the US/Canada, Europe, and APAC
- Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred; Discovery services or chemistry experience is a strong plus
