Carve Partners helps B2B software companies grow through Microsoft partnerships, and they are seeking a high-performing Program Manager for Microsoft's Elevate Digital Impact Studio. This role will serve as the operational backbone for complex initiatives with global partners, ensuring effective execution and alignment with Microsoft capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end project and program delivery across DIS initiatives and partnerships
- Translate ambiguous goals into clear, implementation-ready plans with milestones, owners, timelines, and risks
- Drive execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring initiatives move from concept to real-world delivery
- Maintain accurate trackers, work plans, and delivery artifacts that reflect real status
- Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and decision points before they become blockers
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, platforms, and solution areas relevant to DIS engagements
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to align delivery plans with Microsoft capabilities
- Support implementation discussions to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and execution-ready
- Apply a consulting mindset to structure complex problems and synthesize diverse inputs
- Operate effectively in ambiguous environments by creating clarity, structure, and momentum
- Balance strategic framing with hands-on execution and delivery
- Create executive-ready decks, briefs, and materials for Microsoft leadership and external partners
- Prepare concise status updates, Steering Committee materials, and leadership readouts
- Ensure all messaging is aligned, accurate, and appropriate for senior and external audiences
- Act as a coordination lead across Microsoft internal teams and external partners
- Support high-profile engagements, meetings, workshops, and events
- Track partner commitments, follow-ups, and outcomes through to closure
- Own program governance and operating hygiene, including notes, actions, decisions, trackers, and documentation
- Establish and manage program operating rhythms, including recurring business reviews (ROB), cadence planning, agendas, and end to end meeting scheduling across engagements
- Own engagement level budget management, forecasting, and financial tracking; proactively surface variances, risks, and funding implications
- Ensure SharePoint sites and reporting artifacts are current, usable, and trusted sources of record
- Enable delivery teams to focus on execution by keeping operations clean, predictable, and implementation oriented
Requirements:
- 8+ years in project/program management within complex, cross-functional environments
- Consulting or advisory background — you structure ambiguity into action
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem — internal tools, technology stack (AI, Copilot, Azure), and how to navigate Microsoft's organizational complexity
- Executive presence — comfortable in rooms with senior leaders, UN officials, and global partners
- Excellent written communication — you produce executive-ready decks and briefs that don't need editing
- Willingness to learn fast and shift between strategic framing and hands-on execution daily
- Experience with nonprofit, public sector, or international organizations
