Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer Sr

Lockheed Martin is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer Sr. In this role, you will apply missile guidance, navigation, and control expertise to modeling and simulation, develop high fidelity models and simulation software, and collaborate with various teams to provide technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Apply missile guidance, navigation, and control expertise to modeling and simulation
• Integrate Matlab/Simulink models into a 6-DOF C++ simulation
• Develop high fidelity models and simulation software
• Build new source code in C++ and Python
• Modify code in C++, C, Matlab, Simulink, Fortran, Python, Linux shell, and YAML
• Create unit tests
• Execute simulation software on a high performance computing cluster including Linux systems or VMs
• Work in an Agile DevOps environment with Docker/Container and Kubernetes deployment
• Collaborate with the performance analysts, Flight Software team, and customer Algorithm Development

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience with circuit design, troubleshooting and / or circuit analysis
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Work under only general direction
• Flight hardware experience
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin specifications, tools, and procedures
• Hands-on hardware experience
• Experience working with suppliers
• Strong communication skills and able to effectively work with customer and suppliers
