CapEQ is an Impact Investment Advisory Firm focused on creating financial opportunities through social impact. The Program Manager will lead initiative-level execution across social impact engagements, translating leadership vision into coordinated delivery across complex projects while engaging with clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead 1–2 strategic initiatives from kickoff through close
- Translate scope into actionable work plans, milestones, and deliverables
- Run recurring initiative meetings and drive execution cadence
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, and external partners
- Track commitments, manage timelines, and proactively mitigate risks
- Ensure initiative progress, timelines, and commitments are clearly documented and visible to leadership
- Maintain up-to-date initiative dashboards or trackers
- Surface risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints early
- Ensure documentation and materials are accessible across the team
- Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned initiatives
- Draft and present updates to clients and funders
- Prepare materials for strategic briefings and decision-making
- Prepare concise decision briefs outlining options, implications, and recommended next steps
- Identify execution issues that require leadership input and escalate appropriately
- Track decisions made and ensure alignment across teams and partners
- Ensure leadership guidance is translated into concrete actions
- Understand how initiatives connect across CapEQ’s broader portfolio
- Maintain awareness of adjacent initiatives, partnerships, and timelines
- Identify overlaps and alignment opportunities across engagements
- Translate ecosystem dynamics into actionable program adjustments
- Surface insights and strategic considerations to leadership
- Track and compile initiative metrics, outputs and milestones
- Draft and synthesize grant reports, funder updates, and stakeholder briefings
- Translate complex work into clear, compelling impact narratives
- Ensure program outcomes are documented and communicated effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with 3+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years working in economic development, business support organizations, philanthropy, impact investing, policy, social enterprise, or adjacent social impact ecosystems
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder programs or initiatives
- Strong written communication (funder updates, executive briefs, synthesis documents)
- Experience operating in dynamic, multi-stakeholder social impact environments with shifting priorities and evolving scope
- Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) model
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday, Asana, Notion, Airtable)
