Role Summary
The Executive Enterprise Program Manager provides senior-level leadership and strategic direction for enterprise modernization initiatives. Acting as an executive advisor to IT Leadership, this role drives cross-functional coordination, ensures alignment between business and technology priorities, and oversees the modernization of financial and administrative systems.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities (Shortened)
- Lead enterprise modernization initiatives across Finance, Operations, and HR systems
- Align business priorities with IT strategy and maintain modernization roadmap
- Provide strategic recommendations on technology adoption, architecture, and governance
- Oversee program execution including planning, risk management, and resource coordination
- Guide Business Analysts and ensure seamless flow of requirements into DevOps lifecycle
- Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals and enterprise standards
- Manage DevOps processes, ensuring traceability and consistency of requirements
- Support adoption of modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, Power Platform)
- Conduct system assessments, identify gaps, and drive architectural improvements
- Ensure compliance with security standards (NIST, FISMA) and change management policies
- Lead stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and program health tracking
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration, governance, and leadership meetings
- Oversee documentation, training materials, and system artifacts
Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)
- 5+ years leading large-scale IT modernization initiatives (migrations, integrations, platform transitions)
- 5+ years managing cross-functional technical teams (BA, Dev, Architecture, Ops)
- 5+ years in DevOps environments (backlog management, CI/CD, delivery pipelines)
- 5+ years with modern frameworks (Angular or similar) for enterprise applications
- 2+ years with Microsoft 365 Power Platform (automation, integrations, low-code solutions)
- 5+ years performing current/future state analysis and fit-gap assessments
- 5+ years supporting Financial & Administrative systems modernization
- 5+ years providing strategic technology and architecture recommendations
- 5+ years ensuring cybersecurity, governance, and change management compliance
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Office, SharePoint, Teams)
- Knowledge of security and data compliance standards (CDC, HIPAA, CJIS)
- PMP Certification
