Job Summary
The Salesforce Application Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce solutions supporting enterprise business applications. This role combines hands-on Salesforce development expertise with technical leadership, architecture guidance, and collaboration across business and technology teams to deliver scalable and secure CRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce application design, development, and implementation.
- Architect scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and solution architecture.
- Develop and customize Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Design integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and governance policies.
- Perform code reviews, technical mentoring, and solution optimization.
- Support deployment activities using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and business teams to deliver enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure platform stability and performance.
- Maintain documentation for architecture, integrations, and development standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Apex Programming
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Lightning Platform
- Visualforce
- SOQL/SOSL
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Knowledge of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
- Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)
- Experience in Financial Services or Credit Union domain.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is a plus.
- Exposure to enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft preferred).
