(Remote) Part-time Adjunct Instructor - Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering - 28952

West Virginia University (WVU) is seeking remote part-time adjunct instructors for the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering to support its online graduate education and research initiatives. The role involves teaching and developing online asynchronous courses and advising doctoral students in areas such as Industrial Engineering and Safety Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Advise/mentor online doctoral students
• Teach and develop online asynchronous courses

Requirements:

• Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Industrial/Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment
• Must have the ability to advise/mentor online doctoral students
• Must have the ability to teach and develop online asynchronous courses
• Candidates with BS and MS degrees in Industrial/Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with significant (10+ years) experience will also be considered
• Candidates with active research experience in their area of expertise
• Candidates with academic publications
• Candidates with an interest in advising/mentoring doctoral students
