Product Designer (Remote)

Trellis is the largest legal research platform for state trial courts, revolutionizing the way legal professionals access and use trial court data. They are seeking a thoughtful and execution-focused Product Designer to create intuitive, scalable experiences for their enterprise SaaS platform, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and deliver elegant solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end product experiences, from discovery through delivery and iteration
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for complex workflows
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and user interviews to inform design decisions
• Partner with Product Managers to define problems, validate solutions, and prioritize work
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation of designs
• Work with Marketing to ensure consistency across product and brand touchpoints
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and UX standards
• Use data and user feedback to continuously improve the user experience

Requirements:

• 2+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B or enterprise SaaS
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work and problem-solving process
• Experience designing complex platforms, dashboards, or workflow-heavy applications
• Hands-on experience conducting user research and user interviews
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative startup environment
• Experience in legal tech, fintech, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with data-heavy interfaces or analytics tools
• Experience building or contributing to design systems
• Exposure to growth or conversion-focused design work
