NLP Scientist

Machinify is a leading healthcare intelligence company focused on delivering value and efficiency to health plan clients. They are seeking an applied scientist with expertise in NLP and/or Computer Vision to solve complex problems in medical document understanding and improve AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex problems in medical document understanding and question-answering using modern NLP and vision methodologies
• Make data-driven decisions on algorithms and techniques tailored to specific business challenges
• Work with limited and noisy labeled data, bootstrapping and iterating to improve model output in practical, real-world settings
• Continuously evaluate and optimize models for scalability and performance in production environments
• Learn the intricacies of the healthcare domain and evolve into an industry expert over time
