Staff Product Designer

Elation Health is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through their SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. As a Staff Product Designer, you will lead the design for primary care clinicians, developing a deep understanding of their workflows to inspire innovative design solutions while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Deeply understand our users — their problems, workflows, and jobs-to-be-done — to ensure we are always solving for the right thing
• Own and lead the design process from discovery to delivery, making key decisions on solution direction and details
• Drive the strategic direction of your domain in partnership with Product and Engineering, forecasting the impact of your solutions on users
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a clear, consistent, and high-quality user experience
• As an AI-native design leader, you will balance cutting-edge technology with patient safety and accuracy across user-facing and backend experiences
• Define and own the user satisfaction and usability metrics for your solutions, ensuring the team is aligned on how to measure success
• Be a leader on the design team by mentoring other designers, leading design critiques, and driving initiatives that improve our culture, tools, and processes

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience designing and shipping complex, web-based products in a cross-functional team
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces, from research and strategy through to polished, human-centered user experiences. Your portfolio should showcase your strengths in UX, UI, and visual design
• Proven experience in leading and executing a variety of user research methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building strong partnerships with Product and Engineering
• Experience in designing for complex workflows is a must
• Experience in healthcare or with AI-powered experiences is a strong plus
