General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology, and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government. They are seeking an AI Product Manager to translate their enterprise AI strategy into a portfolio of high-impact AI agents, focusing on defining problems, clarifying requirements, and driving cross-functional alignment with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Translate GDIT’s enterprise AI strategy and roadmap into AI product strategies and a portfolio of enterprise AI agents for internal adoption
- Establish product problem statements, user needs, requirements, and measurable success criteria aligned to enterprise AI governance standards
- Develop product epics and high-level features that organize approved AI use cases into value-driven increments aligned to user outcomes and success criteria
- Partner with functional stakeholders (e.g., Growth, HR, Finance, Legal) to understand workflows, identify high-value use cases, and align on expected outcomes
- Collaborate with AI Engineering teams on feasibility, scope, pilot planning, evaluation design, and release readiness—without leading engineering execution
- Work with organizational change management (OCM) to support adoption and readiness for enterprise AI agents
- Lead product-level prioritization discussions and align stakeholders on scope, tradeoffs, and delivery expectations
- Communicate product progress, key decisions, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership with clarity and consistency
Requirements:
- 5 + years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering)
- 5+ years of product management experience in technical or enterprise software environments, including demonstrated prior experience managing AI-enabled products
- Practical AI literacy, including familiarity with LLMs, retrieval‑augmented workflows, agentic patterns, evaluation fundamentals sufficient to scope use cases and assess feasibility
- Strong ability to create clarity from ambiguity, craft precise requirements, and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
