Xplor Technologies empowers businesses by providing the technology they need to grow. The Senior Product Manager will lead a core product area, manage product roadmaps, and engage with customers to drive product delivery and strategy alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and align product roadmaps with the broader product strategy and find balance in delivery between long term investments, shorter term wins, and tech debt
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, discovery, design collaboration, requirements, development, release, product marketing, measurement, and continuous improvement
- Engage current and prospective customers to understand and analyze their needs, business practices, and future plans
- Develop an astute understanding of the industry including emerging trends, new available technologies, and addressable markets
- Engage with design, research, and development to clearly articulate customer pain points and build a process for effective problem solving
- Partner with marketing and sales to outline delivered customer value and support proper go to market positioning
- Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration
- Deliver clear and comprehensive product requirements to provide guidance to the development team
- Identify and eliminate low value work undertaken by their agile team
- Focus on customer value and identify MVP solutions that deliver on that value with the least amount of time, effort and risk
- Use data and analytics to guide decision-making, optimize product performance, and measure success
- Identify key success metrics for initiatives and ties those metrics to overall business metrics
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Manage expectations and provide regular updates on product performance, risks, and opportunities
Requirements:
- Ability to operate and engage with a scrum team with no supervision
- Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environment and ability to write concise and useful requirements, documentation, and user stories
- Knowledge and product experience in web and mobile applications
- Must be organized and feel comfortable prioritizing the roadmap and defending the prioritization to stakeholders
- Must have strong communication skills to share the vision of the product with customers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working with senior leadership across other company verticals including sales, marketing, and customer support
- Ability to articulate and drive research and design needs in support of product decisions
- At least 6 years of product management experience with a SaaS company preferred
- Familiarity with the Field Services industry experience is ideal
- Familiarity with email and SMS delivery platforms (e.g., Twilio, SendGrid, or similar) including configuration, integration, or operational management of messaging workflows is a plus
- Experience supporting or managing software integrations and working with APIs, including requirements definition, coordination with engineering teams, and partner collaboration
