Project Manager

Brooksource is a leading global engineering organization within one of the largest retail companies in the world, driving the future of operations through large-scale automation. They are seeking an experienced Program / Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of complex automation initiatives, ensuring alignment between engineering, business, and finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of complex automation projects, from ideation through execution and delivery
• Partner with technical teams to ensure design quality and engineering rigor across all phases
• Collaborate with business and finance stakeholders to validate project viability and manage budgets
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
• Drive cross-functional alignment across a wide range of internal stakeholders
• Contribute to strategic planning efforts and help shape the roadmap for future automation initiatives

Requirements:

• Proven experience in program or project management, delivering complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical, business, and finance teams
• Experience with risk management, schedule management, and project lifecycle methodologies
• Ability to work North American business hours and travel 1–2 times per month
• Background in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or automation systems
• PMP certification or equivalent
• Experience supporting large-scale capital programs or infrastructure deployments
