Idexcel is a company seeking a Business Systems Analyst to perform systems analysis and develop requirements documentation for the PTR system. The role involves conducting customer acceptance tests, analyzing business requirements, and providing technical consulting for the Mail and Package Information Systems group.
Responsibilities:
- Perform systems analysis, develop requirements documentation, and create and conduct customer acceptance tests for all components of the PTR system (more than 45 separate interfaces and components)
- Analyze new business requirements or changes to existing requirements and generate test data for the following areas: Retail and Commercial Mailer systems, PTR, Extra Services, Mailing Services, Confirm Services, Ground Shipping, Expedited Services, Scanners, Global Business, Business Mail Entry and Payment Technology, Operations and Engineering, Web (internet, intranet, Web Tools, Click-N-Ship), Call Center / IVR, EDW and PTR Reports, Same Day and Delivery Day Specific Products, MyPO
- Gather business needs documentation from business owners throughout the organization
- Develop requirements documentation for each required change according to established standards provided by Client
- Develop customer acceptance test plans, including detailed test data (input and expected output)
- Analyze business and technical requirements and design solutions
- Conduct acceptance tests using: Intelligent Mail Device (IMD) scanners, Commercial Mailer Electronic Files / Extract files, Intranet & Internet tracking screens, Product Tracking and Reporting (PTR) web applications, Program Registration system, Electronic Marketing Reporting System (EMRS), Expedited Service Specialist (ESS), PTR reports, Call Center Agent screens / IVR system, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), PostalOne!, POS ONE, APCs
- Produce detailed test result documentation
- Develop status reports and test schedules
- Analyze and document PTR business logic, including database and processing rules
- Maintain documentation for Confirmation and Extra Services products
- Analyze current PTR processes and recommend improvements
- Perform ad-hoc research and analysis using Client tools
- Participate in database design and data modeling
- Perform consulting activities and provide technical assistance for the Mail and Package Information Systems group
- Perform expert-level consulting for the Product Tracking and Reporting System (PTR)
- Act as technical liaison between business and IT teams
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to internal and external stakeholders
- Support peer review sessions to strengthen requirements documentation
- Provide expertise on customer files and extracts
- Provide advisory services to management
- Deliver outputs to Manager / Program Manager / designee
- Recommend system improvements aligned with business goals
Requirements:
- USC/GC - Need Federal client experience/ Public trust clearance OR any security clearance
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in technology or software development
- Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work independently across functional duties
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
- US Citizen / Green Card / H1B required
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years
- Travel restriction: < 6 months outside US (last 5 years)
- Certifications/licenses may be required (case-specific)
