Senior Product Designer

Stukent is a fast-growing Edtech company focused on transforming education through innovative products. As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the design process, collaborating with product managers and engineers to create user-friendly and accessible experiences for students and instructors.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end design process, from research, user flows, and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready specs
• Partner closely with product managers and engineers throughout discovery and delivery to ensure design intent is realized in the final product
• Contribute to and help evolve Stukent's design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all product surfaces
• Design for Accessibility from the start, championing inclusive design and aligning all work to WCAG standards
• Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, and confidently advocate for user needs in product discussions
• Identify UX debt and systemic design opportunities, and help prioritize and address them strategically
• Mentor and provide thoughtful feedback to other designers on the team, helping to raise the overall quality of design work
• Balance speed with craft, knowing when to move fast and when to slow down and get it right

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Design, UX Design, or equivalent role
• Proven ability to work autonomously across the full design lifecycle, from research to implementation
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, and maintaining design system consistency
• A strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving, clean visual design skills, and measurable business and user impact
• Solid working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and a track record of creating inclusive, compliant product experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience designing for educational platforms, learning management systems, or other learning-focused products
• Strong handle on web application development, including HTML and CSS fundamentals. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with token-based design systems and how they translate to front-end implementation
• Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system from early stages
