QUALITY ENGINEER- TOSCA(REMOTE)

Compass Technology is a dedicated internal team for Compass Group delivering enterprise-wide initiatives that support diverse customer base. The QA Engineer role focuses on validating application quality through automation and manual testing, ensuring that software meets functional, data, and performance expectations before release.

Responsibilities:

• Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases aligned to user story acceptance criteria
• Develop and maintain Tosca automated tests using existing modules and frameworks
• Execute functional, regression, API, database, and basic performance tests
• Build and maintain regression test coverage across applications
• Validate backend services and data consistency across systems
• Manage test cases, test cycles, and execution results using qTest
• Log, track, and validate defects using Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and QA peers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Provide clear and concise test status, results, and defect documentation

Requirements:

• 4 to 7 years experience in software quality assurance with both manual and automation testing
• 1+ years hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, or similar
• Experience using Azure DevOps for defect tracking
• Experience using qTest or a similar test management tool
• Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC practices
• Intermediate SQL skills including joins, updates, and data validation
• Basic understanding of performance testing concepts and execution
• Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills
• 1 year hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
• Tosca certifications
• ISTQB certification
• Experience testing APIs and backend services
