Sr. Developer - Quality Engineering

TrueTandem is a trusted information technology solutions provider committed to the success of their customers. They are seeking a Sr. Developer - Quality Engineering who will work closely with product and engineering teams to enhance QA strategies and ensure the delivery of reliable content to users.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product, editorial, and engineering teams to assess QA strategies and embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle
• Ensure test coverage for critical workflows, including content ingestion, publishing, personalization, and user engagement features
• Propose, Build, and Maintain QE tools that are modular and can be used across all projects
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment cycles and minimize production defects
• Champion testability and observability, especially in high-traffic, high-availability environments
• Mentor teams on automation best practices, helping shift testing left and improve developer ownership of quality
• Analyze test results and production metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of development experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Golang, Ruby)
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit)
• Knowledge of XCUITest, Espresso, Appium is a plus
• Experience working with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Platform
