AMVAC U.S. is a leader in sustainable agriculture, focusing on crop protection and specialty products. The Senior Vice President of Product Marketing will develop and deliver the company's product portfolio, aligning with CEO-set goals while managing existing products and identifying new innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and improve focus across R&D, Regulatory, Product Management, and M&A
- Oversee new product pipeline creation and stage gate accountability across functions globally
- Responsible for consistent growth in new product pipeline development and new product sales
- Accountable for developing NPV analysis of stage gate 3 projects and measuring performance
- Set up Product Excellence (Product Management and Pricing) and M&A capabilities within the organization
- Support American Vanguard’s EBITDA improvement goals by embedding EBITDA-focused mindset within teams and brokering new ways of working around manufacturing continuous improvement initiatives
- Set team governance standards to encourage ongoing collaboration and improvement
- Deliver and demonstrate measurable performance and capability improvements through defined success metrics and KPIs
Requirements:
- Skilled in assessing and selecting crop protection products to enhance and manage a strategic product portfolio
- Proficient in developing compelling business cases to support the pursuit of new product opportunities
- Ability to engage with potential partners through strategic outreach and communication to build alignment
- Expertise in forming and negotiating partnerships and licensing agreements
- Skilled in guiding new products through the commercialization process, ensuring successful integration into the portfolio
- Proficient in tracking and analyzing partnership performance to make informed strategic adjustments
- Strong change management skills to lead organizational adoption of new systems and processes
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly visible role
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Chemistry, or related field
- 20+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years at a senior management / executive role
- Proven experience leading global R&D, New Product functions with successful launches growing top line
- Experience successfully developing and leading high performing teams
- Strong networking and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills as well as presentation skills adapted to various audiences including Board of Directors, Investors and other key stakeholders
- Ability to implement system and process standardization
- Proven capability with business analytic dashboards and modernization initiatives
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
