MASA is a leader in emergency medical transportation insurance, dedicated to protecting families with compassion. The Business Intelligence Analyst - Consumer Finance will act as the analytics owner for the Consumer division, driving data-driven decisions and providing insights that influence business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end financial analytics for the Consumer division, from business question scoping through modeling, analysis, and delivery
- Build and maintain complex financial and operational models primarily in Excel, serving as the foundation for decision-making
- Develop sales and marketing forecasts, including volume, conversion, and unit economics assumptions
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting pipelines, with increasing use of Power BI
- Drive the annual budgeting process and create trackable frameworks to measure performance throughout the year
- Lead monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and provide clear, actionable commentary for leadership
- Translate complex analysis into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business intelligence/data analytics
- Strong Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, charts, variance analysis) and experience with Power BI
- Excellent communication skills—the ability to tell clear, compelling stories with data for senior audiences
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a track record of taking ownership and driving growth
- Experience with budgeting/forecasting software
- Sales pipeline forecasting in consumer products or insurance/benefits
- Advanced credentials (MBA, CFA, CPA)
