Thermo Fisher Scientific is a leading provider of global CRO solutions, and they are seeking a Project Manager for their Digital Operations team. This role involves managing key project activities to support cross-functional teams in delivering innovative digital health solutions for clinical research.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive key project management activities that support cross-functional teams delivering digital health solutions (e.g., patient screeners, CTMS, eSource platforms)
- Build, maintain, and evolve project plans to ensure seamless execution across timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
- Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to keep everyone aligned, informed, and moving forward
- Develop clear, insightful project reports and status updates that keep stakeholders engaged and informed
- Support project financial management through analysis, tracking, and collaboration with functional leads
- Synthesize inputs from across teams to ensure deliverables are completed efficiently and effectively
- Ensure all activities meet regulatory standards, SOPs, ICH-GCP guidelines, and project-specific requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical project coordination or operations
- A strong foundation in project management principles (time, cost, quality) with an eye for detail and process excellence
- Experience working in a Clinical Research or Pharmaceutical environment (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and methodologies
- Comfort working with tools like Microsoft Office, JIRA, and other digital platforms
- Strong communicator—you can translate complex information clearly across diverse audiences
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on results and stakeholder satisfaction
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic financial acumen and confidence working with project budgets and forecasts
- Strong English communication skills to present information to all levels of organization
- Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner
- Able to work upright and stationary for typical working hours
- Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency
- Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities
- May require as-needed travel (0-20%)
- Must be legally authorized to work in your country of residence without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening (US)
