CIMA AVIATION INC is a leading organization in the aviation industry, renowned for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service, building relationships with clients, and supporting Sales Directors in achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Become thoroughly familiar with the company's services and utilize CIMA's ERP system to respond to RFQs and accurately fulfill orders
- Evaluate customer quotes to identify cross-sell opportunities and follow up accordingly
- Compile sales opportunity analyses when required
- Track sales opportunities and research new sales avenues
- Proactively approach customers with new repair offerings
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients and work to expand the customer base
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support the sales team through effective communication, follow-up, and logistical assistance
- Travel to customer locations as required and perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in an aviation-related customer service role, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards and customer expectations
- A motivated self-starter with an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills—both oral and written
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical reasoning capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel
- Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED
- At least 1+ year of sales experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment handling multiple product lines is preferred, with a focus on cross-selling, price negotiation, and follow-up
