Engineering Manager

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Remote Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and inspire their distributed engineering team, overseeing project delivery and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a remote team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technical projects on time and within budget
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
• Drive technical excellence by promoting best practices, code quality, and innovative solutions
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability within the team
• Identify and remove obstacles to ensure smooth project execution
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development discussions
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Demonstrated success managing remote or distributed engineering teams
• Strong technical background and experience with modern engineering practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment
