Emergency technician at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Mission Hills, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 12-hour Night shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Resource Nurse, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.
The Emergency Service Technician performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed under RN/MD supervision. The EST demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training Completion of EMT-1 Training program. Or Clinical experience.
- Coursework/Training MOAB I / II within 30 to 150 days of hire.
- Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License Or
- Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License Or
- Upon hire: California Paramedic License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
- 1 year Patient care or clinical experience.
- Experience in an emergency room setting.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
