Business Intelligence Analyst

Gainwell Technologies is a company focused on improving health and well-being through technology. The Business Intelligence Analyst will partner with reporting leaders and stakeholders to enhance dashboards and data processes that improve operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to collect and understand data requirements for various business needs
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualize business insights
• Perform basic data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy
• Support team members in optimizing data workflows and SQL queries
• Document processes and maintain records of work to enhance knowledge sharing within the team
• Conduct exploratory data analysis under guidance and communicate findings effectively

Requirements:

• Three or more years of Data Analytics experience or relevant academic coursework
• Familiarity with Python and/or other data scripting languages
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Exposure to business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Hands-on experience with Excel and data manipulation techniques
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Exposure to data governance concepts and practices
