We are looking for an experienced MDM Engineer-Team Lead to lead a team of MDM engineers in developing and implementing robust mobile device management strategies while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine MDM strategies to enhance mobile device security, management, and productivity
- Lead and coordinate a team of MDM engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Innovate and implement advanced security policies for mobile devices, ensuring robust protection against threats
- Plan and execute high availability strategies for MDM systems to ensure continuous operation and minimal downtime
- Enforce compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, ensuring all MDM practices meet legal and organizational standards
- Provide technical oversight and management for MDM projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MDM solutions with business objectives and IT strategies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for MDM processes, configurations, and procedures
- Stay current with emerging MDM technologies, trends, and best practices
- Participate in the procurement and evaluation of MDM tools and software
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of MDM processes to identify areas for improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of MDM strategies and methodologies
- Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and training sessions to enhance team skills and capabilities
- Ensure all MDM solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s goals
Requirements:
- Active DoD Public Trust clearance or US citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust upon hire
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in MDM, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in developing and implementing MDM strategies
- Strong team leadership and coordination skills
- Expertise in security policy innovation for mobile devices
- Experience in high availability planning and implementation
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and enforcement in the context of MDM
- Excellent technical oversight and management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Certifications such as Mobile Device Management Professional (MDMP) or equivalent
- Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE)
- Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and mobile threat defense
- Familiarity with containerization and microservices architectures
- Experience with automation and scripting for MDM processes
